My name is Maryam Southam, I’m a photographer living in Montreal Qc. My favorite things are pizza picnics in the park, snuggles with my kids, and stargazing at the cottage.

My approach to photography may be called  “lifestyle” or even “documentary.”  I aim to capture you with minimal posing, just you as you are, snapping up those sweet and fleeting moments in life that are perfectly imperfect.

My photography is inspired by natural light, neutral colours, soft texture and most of all human connection, these are all important details of my imagery.  I strive to create timeless keepsakes that bring you back. I am a visual storyteller and lover of natural light. I would be honoured to get to know you and capture your story.
